Return Policy

Return Period

Due to the custom nature of our furniture manufacturing, returns are subject to specific conditions. Custom-made furniture items cannot be returned unless there is a manufacturing defect or the item does not match the agreed specifications.

For any concerns about your custom furniture order, please contact us within 14 days of delivery to discuss potential solutions. We are committed to resolving any issues to your satisfaction.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for return consideration, items must meet the following conditions:

  • The item must have a manufacturing defect or not match the agreed specifications
  • The item must be in its original condition, unused, and undamaged
  • All original packaging and documentation must be included
  • You must contact us within the specified time period
  • You must provide proof of purchase

We reserve the right to inspect returned items to verify the condition and reason for return before processing any refund or replacement.

Return Shipping Costs

If a return is approved due to a manufacturing defect or failure to meet specifications, we will cover the return shipping costs. In cases where the return is due to customer preference or change of mind, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Return shipping costs will be deducted from any refund amount if the customer is responsible for shipping. We recommend using insured shipping with tracking for all returns.

Return Process

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us within the specified time period to discuss your concern
  2. Provide details about the issue, including photographs if applicable
  3. We will review your request and determine eligibility for return
  4. If approved, we will provide return instructions and authorization
  5. Package the item securely using original packaging when possible
  6. Ship the item to the address provided in the return authorization
  7. Once received and inspected, we will process your refund or replacement

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are generally not eligible for return:

  • Custom-made furniture that matches agreed specifications
  • Items that have been damaged due to misuse, accident, or normal wear
  • Items that have been modified or altered after delivery
  • Items returned without original packaging or documentation
  • Items returned after the specified return period

General Legal Requirements

This return policy complies with Australian Consumer Law, which provides statutory rights and remedies that cannot be excluded. Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

A major failure occurs when the goods are substantially unfit for their purpose, are unsafe, or differ significantly from the description or sample provided. Our return policy does not limit or exclude these statutory rights.

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel an order before production begins, please contact us immediately. Cancellation requests received before manufacturing commences may be eligible for a full refund minus any design or consultation fees already incurred.

Once manufacturing has begun, cancellation may not be possible, or may be subject to charges for work completed and materials ordered. We will discuss cancellation options and any applicable charges on a case-by-case basis.

Refund Procedure

If your return is approved, we will process your refund using the original payment method. Refunds typically take 5-10 business days to appear in your account after we process the return.

For manufacturing defects or items that do not meet specifications, we may offer a replacement or repair instead of a refund, depending on the nature of the issue and your preference.

If you paid by credit card, the refund will be credited to the same card. For other payment methods, we will process the refund accordingly. You will receive confirmation once the refund has been processed.
